Rebalance with our Menopause Sux Tea | Wellness Blend

Is menopause frustrating you? My name is Gina (marketer for Dynasty of Tea and daughter in-law to our Tea Master and owner Donna). In this blog l would like to introduce you to our Menopause Sux tea, because menopause does suck (as I am constantly told by the older women in my life). Donna our owner and creative tea blender carefully curated this blend to help with her menopause symptoms and decided to share it with every other woman that is struggling. This wellness tea consists of black cohosh, chaste berry, honeybush and rose. Perfectly balanced to create a tea that is enjoyable to drink.

Ingredients and their health benefits

  • BLACK COHOSH

Black cohosh is a flowering plant that is a member of the Ranunculaceae (buttercup) family. The flower and roots were commonly used in traditional Native American medicine. Today, black cohosh is known to aid menopause symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, irritability and elevate oestrogen. Black cohosh root has an earthy and slightly bitter taste.

Native to: North America

Also known as: rattleweed, snakeroot, black bugbane & bugwort

  • CHASTE BERRY

Chaste berry is a herb native to the Mediterranean region. Grows as a large shrub that looks like a small tree and produces tiny berries. Chaste berry is commonly known to aid hormonal symptoms, stimulate progesterone, enhance mood and other menstrual issues like breast pain and inflammation. These berries dried have a peppery taste and aroma.

Native to: The Mediterranean region and Asia

Also known as: Chaste Tree and Monk’s pepper

  • HONEYBUSH

Honeybush tea is caffeine free and made from the leaves of the Cyclopia plant. A natural, herbal plant that grows gorgeous yellow flowers. This plant has low tannins and is known to help with menopausal symptoms, gut health, aid digestion and normalise hormones. Honeybush has a delicious, refreshing sweet and fruity flavour.

Native to: Eastern Cape of South Africa

Also known as: mountain tea, bergtee and heuningbos

  • ROSE

Rose is a floral tisane, apart of a large family with many different species. Rose has a delicate floral aroma when the petals or full buds are steeped. Rose tisane may help calm the mind and body, aid restlessness, digestion and body detoxification.

Botanical name: Rosa rubiginosa

Native to: Most rose species are native to Asia

Also known as: Queen of flowers and rosa

Why should you drink our Menopause Sux tea?

Our Menopause blend is a balancing ritual you can have nightly or in the morning before you start your day! This comforting tea may provide you with a calm and soothing feeling. These ingredients were chosen carefully because of their unique properties, to help target menopause symptoms. If you want the full effect of this blend, drink it daily. Herbal concoctions take time to start working and it needs to be constant.

How to enjoy our Menopause Sux blend

Water temperature: 90-100 degrees

Amount: 1 tea bag per 250mL water

Steeping time: 1-2 minutes

Approx. refills: 1 time

Serving suggestion: Drink hot or cold, add honey or stevia to enhace sweetness
